You can get great software free and legal from a number of different sources - the problem is figuring out which ones are worth getting. There's a site called Gizmo's Freeware, which offers extensive and reliable reviews of software that's available for free. It's run by Gizmo Richards, and we've been following his advice since he was just a newsletter. He's saved us hundreds upon hundreds of dollars with his tips on where to get quality software for any specific need at no charge.
